Who We Are

We are an international community of Christian believers with the main goal of glorifying God for the undeserved gift of salvation through the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We meet every week to pray to God and to praise Him within our church services, as well as to have fellowship with each other in the context of spiritual and social activities.

All those who would like to know God in a more personal way, regardless of nationality, denomination or social background, are more than welcome.

Marin Țifrea
Pastor of Holy Trinity Church

" Do you care about your soul? Do you think there is anyone who genuinely cares about your soul?

God does. That's why He revealed Himself in Christ, He revealed the truth about humans' soul in His Word, The Holy Scripture.

In a world where people focus mostly on material and perishing things, we want to help. Make time for your soul! "

Short History

Holy Trinity Baptist Church – Piatra Neamț, was officially founded in 1976, after it operated for several years as meetings in private homes. Holy Trinity Church is part of the Christian Baptist Community of “Bacău”, and is in a good collaborative relationship with its churches, as well as with other churches in Romania and abroad (UK and USA). Our partnerships’ projects have both spiritual and social focus. We look to support families where children have disabilities, senior citizens and people who are struggling with illness.

Thus, we wish to work for the welfare of the community among which we live in.

Baptist Christians are a branch of the Reformation and are known under this denomination since 1608. Nowadays, Baptist believers are spread in more than 180 countries all over the world. In Romania, the first Baptist Church was founded in 1856, in Bucuresti. In 1920, Baptist churches have instituted The Christian Baptist Union of Romania and currently represents a religious cult that runs independently from other Baptist communities outside our country.

The name “Baptists” comes from the practice of baptising adults who, out of their own conviction, believe in the saving sacrifice of Jesus Christ, The Son of God. The word “baptist” comes from the Greek language of The New Testament’s “baptizo”, which means “to baptise”. In the Church creed as well as in practice, baptism is carried out in The Name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, by immersion in water and is preceded by the conversion and testimony of the one who believes.

Romania’s Christian Baptist cult is one of the 14 cults recognized by the state, and operates autonomously from it.
