What We Believe

We believe in one living God, who exists in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible is God's Word which represents the foundation of our creed.

Our Beliefs

About God

God is the Creator, Upholder and Lord of all things. He exists eternally in Holy Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, I John 5:7, II Corinthians 13:14, Ephesians 4: 6, I Corinthians 8:6)

About The Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity and produces new life and lives permanently within every born-again person who believed in Jesus and accepted Him as personal Saviour. (John 3: 1-7, John 15:26, Acts 5:32, II Corinthians 3:3)

About Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully Man. Eternally existent, He was conceived in time through the Holy Spirit, was born of the virgin Mary. He died for our sins and was raised to life on the third day, He ascended into heavens and is seated at the right hand of God as High Priest and Mediator. (Ioan 1:1-3; Filipeni 2: 5-11)

About Eternal Destiny

People’s eternal destiny is determined by the acceptance or rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s solution for the problem of sin. Those who reject Jesus Christ will rise for judgment and hell, but those who accept Him as Lord and Saviour will rise for a happy and eternal life in Paradise. (John 5: 22-29)

About People

People were created in God’s image, but were punished, because of sin, not only with physical death, but spiritual too, which means separation from God. Everyone needs salvation and life from God. (Ephesians 2: 1-6)

About The Bible

The Bible is God’s word. Both the writings of Old and New Testament have been inspired by God, totally and without mistake, in its original form. The Bible is the supreme and final authority in matters of faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16)

About Salvation

Salvation is wholly God’s gift which can be acquired through repentance and faith in the saving work of Jesus, who died on the cross for the sinners. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

About The Lord’s Coming

The Lord’s Coming is the imminent event of Christ’s return at a time chosen by God, and equally represents the blessed hope of His Church. (Acts 1:11 | Titus 2:11-15)

About Sin

Sin is lack of compliance towards the moral law of God whether through our actions or attitudes. All people are slaves to sin, whose consequence is spiritual death, and ultimately, eternal separation from God. (James 4:17 | Romans 6:23)

About Holiness

Holiness is the progressive work of the Holy Spirit in the life of a saved sinner. Furthermore, holiness represents a spiritual daily fight of a person to resist temptations and live God’s will. (1 Thessalonians 4:13 | Hebrews 13:20,21 | Colossians 4:12)

About Baptism

Baptism represents the public declaration, in the name of Holy Trinity, of a person’s belief in the saving sacrifice of Jesus and his identification with the death and resurrection of Christ. We practice baptism by immersion, and the ceremony includes personal testimony; toddlers can not fulfill this condition, therefore can not be admitted for baptism. (Matthew 28:19 | Romans 6:4 | Acts 8:36,37)

About Church

Church, according to the New Testament, represents all Christians believers of all times, regardless of race, nationality or social background. Church is governed by the Holy Spirit through the work of God’s servants, with the purpose of glorifying Jesus, sharing the Gospel, the establishment of God’s Kingdom in people’s hearts and brotherly fellowship needed for spiritual growth. (Matthew 18:20 and Acts 20:28)

About Prayer

Prayer is the intimate fellowship between the human heart and God. It represents an honest expression of one’s inner self before the Lord. Prayer should be addressed to the Father, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Psalm 62:8 | Philippians 4:6 | John 16:23)

If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
